The only difference between day3 and day3v2 is the End of game object forgotten in level 4, and the order of levels 3-4, and the fact that the latter is an installer instead of a standalone exe.


Day 1: was not aware of the jam

Day 2: Minigolem.exe v1

loaded Gamemaker and took an old platforming project that contained 1) a platforming character and 2) water swimming

Changing the character sprite, adding power-ups that enable the swimming, make the double jump higher, and a simple torch weapon.

Adding a timer on the golem and creating the bodies.

Adding rotating cogs (took too long)

Making the bodies have platforming logic (slide on cogs, sink in water)

Create one level

Create game-end text object and put it in the level


Day 3: Minigolem_day3.exe v2 

Work 9-18

Remaining 3 hours: created a level-end oject that goes to the next level

Created 5 more levels (designed them during work but don't tell anyone)

Export to single .exe 

Accidentally add a Game-end text object in the middle of a level!

Remove it and export. But the new export is an .exe installer by default! which gets blocked by the browser AND the antiviruses.
